For this project, we got to create a video in Adobe After Effects incorporating mostly shape layers, text layers, and imported Adobe Illustrator Files.
A one-minute animation video made for teenagers and young adults to understand a car’s braking system. Before creating the animation I sketched the individual scenes out in a storyboard.
Storyboards:
The soft blue colour scheme was meant to be soft and friendly, same with the graphics being “bubbly” and soft around the edges. The language in the video is meant to be understood by children and young adults who have very little information about cars.
